PARKIM Perfumes and Chemicals has been established in 1979, with the purpose of Manufacturing and Supplying Fragrances in Turkey with the Know-How and Technical Support of CPL / UK, at the time called Contemporary Perfumers Ltd. Parkim was planned as a joint venture of CPL.and our group
At those times, in Turkey, the laws governing importation of materials like Fragrances and Essential Oils were quite strict and the total value of the Customs and related charges came to 200%. (There was even a short period of time-when the general Turkish Foreign Currency situation had problems-that the charges were almost 300%). So, it was a good project to bring the rawmaterials for the fragrances as they are and make the blending in Turkey. This way, customs and charges were almost halved. So, we started the company, established our manufacturing facilities firstly in the town called Bursa, and then in 1985 we moved them to Istanbul where our Headoffice is.
Today, Parkim is importing finished fragrances and supplying fragrances to Turkish cosmetics, hygiene, detergents and other chemical industries. Our headoffice and warehouse are located in Istanbul and we have a sales office in Izmir also.
Besides fragrances, we have decided to extend our product range, adding chemicals and packaging materials ,since 2004.
We have 2 Sales Offices, 1 in Istanbul , 1 in Izmir , 2 warehouses 1 in Anotolian 1 in the European
part of Istanbul. We have 6 SalesPeople paying daily visits to customers advising Technical help, supporting with formulae, participating in their production . Our aim is to be there when the customer needs us.
